Introduction |

SARSwatch.ca is designed to provide
accurate and up-to-date information about SARS and
related health issues to family physicians and other
frontline healthcare staff. Providing a strong communication
link with these professionals is essential, since
they are traditionally the first resource that the
general public turn to when health problems emerge
in the community. |

Who are we? |
|
The staff members responsible
for maintaining and updating SARSwatch.ca work
from the Infection Control office of Mount
Sinai Hospital, Toronto. The Infection Control
division at MSH is a recognized leader in the
field. Our hospital was actively involved in controlling
the Toronto SARS outbreaks of 2003.
In addition, this site contains SARS information
collected from other reputable hospitals and organizations
to ensure that this site maintains a comprehensive
collection of SARS information for all our users.

reviewed by an editorial board, consisting of
members from many healthcare disciplines, including
infectious diseases, family medicine, and public
health.
