About ToCare

The Toronto Centre for Antimicrobial Research & Evaluation is a fee for service research group led by Dr. Joyce de Azavedo and Dr. Darrin Bast. Located in downtown Toronto.

ToCARE operates from the internationally recognized Mount Sinai Hospital. We are primarily involved in the study of the molecular mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance.  ToCARE also offers services in the areas of pharmacokinetics, immunology, and surveillance.  Please visit our services area for more details.
